I'm wanting keep with the habit of posting stuff. Here are a few drawings I have for a comic idea I've been bouncing around in my head.

Howdy all.

I'm back, ya'll.  I took a digital painting and world building class with Anthony Waters last month.  There are a few pieces I plan to post here but I wanted to show these two  long pose figure drawings first.  Ant pushed us to really focus on hammering in big shapes when we approach an image.  The figure on the bottom is after the class and an attempt to incorporate what I learned.  The top is from a week before the class started. I'm looking forward to continuing to develop this approach.  Thanks Anthony!

This sketch was done on the same day, and piece of paper as the previous Luna Illustrator experiment. I only recently ran it through Illustrator.

Just experimenting a little bit. I can't really say much more. The top one is a 5 minute pose I think and the bottom one was drawn from a model that didn't stop moving for 3 hours.

Taste of things to come...

After recently being reacquainted with symbol based flash animation, I realized the fun I was missing out on so I decided to do a new build of a new character to animate. This is just the start. Hopefully I'll get more done before I become more interested in other projects.

I've got a few ideas in the works for those of you who are tired of watching me lovingly create works of art with myself as the subject. In the meantime...

Another Self Portrait

I did this one playing around with the acrylic brushes in Corel Painter. Its a pretty exciting piece of software.

I drew the first guy while watching the special features on the Episode 3 DVD.
